Following several years of speed running at the highest level, we're excited to release what we feel is the very best center drive shaft set available for Arrma cars

The Pinocchio spool set has taken the fastest speed runners reliably into the 190+mph zone, but vibration and bearing life at these speeds has been a challenge requiring constant maintenance.

This new triple bearing arrangement re-writes the dynamics of the centre drive system. The longest ever spool, carefully optimised, is supported by three bearings eliminating vibration and flex under load. The fantastic Trident ball bearing front shaft is kept with 102mm length, whilst the rear shaft is a super short, also 102mm length (down from 114 /125mm). This very short titanium shaft runs totally smoothly giving bearings an easy life.

We have been testing this arrangement through the 2024 season with fantastic results, running multiple speed run events without requiring any bearing changes.

Our Trident drive cups are now made in lightweight Titanium!

This shaft set is designed to be a drop it fit to our 'SPC' and SPC2 type Arrma chassis. It is also designed to match perfectly with our SPC or Servo Mount top deck braces. It will fit other chassis types, and other top deck braces, but extra holes will need to be drilled.

The game changing Trident shaft is a must have for high speed running. A standard shaft pin cannot withstand the speed and loads generated at the front cup, resulting in high friction and rapid pin burn out. Trident has been the go-to solution run by the fastest guys in the world - not least our own 224mph car. Every performance Arrma car will benefit. 180mph plus Arrma cars cannot reliably run without the trident!

Our renown titanium dog bone shafts have been proved over and over again to be the most robust solution on the market. These are fully machined shafts with the main diameter tuned to 7mm diameter to optimise weight and fit. Our specially sourced pins are top quality hardened carbon steel, not just stock dowels or poorly hardened parts. A highly developed and long proven product. We've never seen a broken one yet!

The spool is supplied with a 7 PIECE spacer set, including 0.5 and 0.2mm shims for a perfect fit on any spur gear
