CARS ARE EXPECTED TO SHIP AT THE END OF FEBRUARY

Following 4 years at the top end of world RC speed running, we have put everything we know into building a specialist airfield speed car.

Proven at over 200mph in 'out of the box' condition, using only modest power this format is set to be a new benchmark for Airfield Speed Running

Rather than follow the standard formats, this car is a fresh look at how to go fast. We stripped everything back to build a true, single minded record breaker. If a part isn’t absolutely essential, and doesn’t make you go faster, it isn’t there.

The design ideology of simple/sophisticated makes for a car with very little to be wrong, very little to break, and a lightning fast car at relatively little cost.

Based on carbon fibre chassis, the super thick polycarbonate shell is used as a 'stressed member', adding the required stiffness.

A suite of  7075 aluminium parts are included. Our trusted Rotolok motor mount, side body clips and battery retaining buckles are all there.

Advanced 3D printed parts are used for the nose cone, diffuser, wheel covers and Steering knuckles. These have all been tuned and improved throughout testing for the best handling and aero performance.

Cars will be supplied as assembled rollers

This car has already set records – 196mph on 6s and  205mph on a single motor (These records have subsequently been broken) More records are sure to fall to SR1 drivers in 2026.

Required to complete:

ESC and Motor

Steering Servo

Transmitter / receiver

Steering Gyro (Strongly Recommended)

Batteries

Gears (8mm bore spur gear)

Painting of the bodyshell

What you need to know:

This is a specialist car designed for smooth Airfields. It DOES NOT handle bumps very well. We have even struggled on some airfields (Like Elvington in the UK). You have been warned.

Whilst the car is very simple to set up (there is very little to 'set'), it does require a 'sympathetic' drive. It's not designed for sudden changes of direction.
