Front Locker and Titanium CVD Axle set - for Hobao VTE2

Through Shaft type locker and Titanium CVD style front axle set for VTE2 (all models)

Locker:

Hobao diff locker with hardened steel through shaft. This shaft is 6mm thick, made of a steel alloy we've come to use in these demanding applications. The shaft is unbreakable, and suited for all drag and speed applications.

This lightweight diff locker eliminates the internal diff gears and wobbly out drives. A steel through shaft takes all the load, straight from the re-used stock ring gear through to the shafts. No more broken diff pins!

Comes complete with a pair of hybrid ceramic bearings (Rubber seals)

Ring gear NOT included.

Like other drive components, these require degreasing and plenty of high strength loctite (including on the drive cup bore) and allowed to cure for 24 hours if you want them to stay together. Please read the spec of the loctite you use. Loctite 271 is our preferred choice.

Axles:

This is the first CVD type axle set available for VTE2. Bringing you the same durability and proven high speed and high load performance. These are special short length shafts to suit the diff locker.

PLEASE NOTE! There's a very small amount of interference with the Stock plastic knuckles with the plastic retaining ring.  You will need to dremel the bore of the knuckle out very slightly - easy and quick to do, but sorry for that!
