Diff Housing / Bulkhead - For Arrma 6s Speed cars - Special for conversion to Hobao gears

Mk III version, incorporating a bigger inner pinion bearing and rubber chassis seal.

This is now a dedicated Hobao gear fit, for use with our 'Hobao Through Shaft Diff Lockers' front and rear. ARRMA DIFFS AND LOCKERS WILL NOT FIT.

Aluminium 7075 T6 upgrade Diff Housing to suit all 6s 1/8th and 1/7th scale Arrma trucks. For racers, bashers, drifters drag racers and speed runners.

You will need to use the same gears front and rear - so a pair of housings will need to be purchased. This item is ONE housing

This housing allows your Arrma build to run Hoboa diff gears. These gears are really nice quality giving super durable and smooth drive. The output shafts are 6mm (rather than 5mm), The input gears are a huge 8mm shaft (rather than 5mm)

Our Hobao Through Shaft Diff Lockers have 6mm through shafts, making them pretty much unbreakable, even for the hardest drag runs. This is the same setup we used on our 224mph world record setting car.

Key Features:

• Huge oversize pinion bearing. Uses a 8x16x5 bearing. (abec 7 ceramic bearings and shims included!) Far larger than other housings giving dependable durability in the most extreme applications
• Extra wide diff bearing seating allowing the hobao lockers to fit.
• Precision fit diff bearings. Our unique bearing arrangement guarantees a perfect fit for the diff rotor bearings. Other housings typically crush the bearings or are loose. Ours are a perfect fit every time - a design and tolerance system proven in our motor mounts. (The slots seen above the bearing are filled to prevent dirt ingress)

As well as our through shaft lockers, Hobao standard open diffs can now be fitted, however Hobao open diffs are 2.5mm narrower per side. This will cause fitment problems with axles being too short! This can be overcome at the front by shortening the arms, but it's not really possible at the rear, so please be aware that its not a straight forward fit.
