This design of chassis was originally developed by Scorched Parts. A hybrid chassis using a combination of Carbon Fibre, 7075 T6 aluminium, and Titanium to bring out the best these materials have to offer. Fantastic strength and stiffness with reduced weight
The massively strong main body is made from 4mm thick top quality Toray 3k carbon fibre, providing fantastic strength to weight ratio. Precision machining for a perfect fit and a high quality satin finish.
The front section is 7075 T6 aluminium, up to 7mm thick in critical areas. With huge strength it includes correct chassis kick up at the front to maintain correct steering geometry. Droop screw tabs benefit from the strength and hardness of the 7075.
The front section is retained using 2 specially developed cone nuts machined from Grade 5 Titanium.
Rear droop screw tabs are reinforced with stainless steel inserts to prevent rapid wear of the carbon fibre.
Please consider the use of our titanium rear skids if you are bashing with this chassis.
Please be aware that some carbon parts will pick up minor cosmetic marks during manufacture. These will usually be hard to notice once assembled.
Our carbon fibre is totally waterproof.
Modifying your RC from stock condition can result in unexpected results. Operation of modified models must take this into account. Always follow the original manufacturer’s instructions. Whilst we build our parts to the highest standards we are able, like all rc parts, our parts cannot be guaranteed for performance, strength and durability in every situation or configuration. Do not use your RC in public areas. Do not use your RC where unexpected results could cause injury or damage to property. High Speed RCs require GREAT CARE and a responsible attitude to use safely.
