Scorched Parts Carbon Fibre Full Length VTE2 Chassis Kit.

Take a great car, and make it AMAZING!

This is a special kit including a special 6 piece chassis, plus carbon fibre towers and top brace. Please email when ordering if you want towers to suit the aluminium bulkheads.

Now also includes 3mm motor mount packing plate to perfect the centre shaft alignment.

This full length conversion kit enables the use of a rear diffuser and Arrma carbon fibre front splitters, as available for different body types. SPLITTER NOT INCLUDED

The Chassis can be supplied with optional stainless steel 'high mass' front splitter. Ideal for many applications, improving grip, directional stability and adding 'mechanical' front downforce. A carbon splitter mount is the other option for those not needing additional nose weight.

The kit also has an optional Scorched Parts rear diffuser. The Arrma rear diffuser can also be used with some small modifications.

Arrma type wings like our batwing and SP wing will mount on the diffuser with the appropriate Arrma wing assembly parts.

The chassis rises the front and rear diff housings by 9mm. This enables much improved arm and axle shaft angles, straightening out the axles to reduce friction and wear in the joints.

300mm wide to suit all common 1/7th GT type bodies. Made from 4mm top quality Toray 3k carbon fibre, providing fantastic strength to weight ratio. Precision machined for a perfect fit and a high quality satin finish.

Droop screw positions have stainless steel tabs inserted to protect the carbon fibre.

No holes for battery /ESC mounts are made, allowing your own custom arrangement. We recommend using our 7075 aluminium battery buckles. DRIILING IS REQUIRED.

Stock front bumper must be cut down to act as front pin retainers. The rear plastic pin retainer must be modified to clear the diffuser screws.

Optional rear diffuser is NOT a plug and play part. It is supplied untrimmed and un-drilled. It also comes with full rear inner fenders. Model making skills are required to trim and custom fit this to the chassis and your body. Reinforcement may be required. Fitting an Arrma diffuser is an easier job, but will still require trimming with a sharp knife.

Stock servo mounting holes are provided.

This is a speed run / drag chassis, so there is no spur cutout. Suitable for 46t spurs and smaller

Check out our awesome battery strap mounts that enable custom battery positioning, and our side body mounts.

Our drill and countersink kit is ideal for prepping the chassis.

Modifying your RC from stock condition can result in unexpected results. Operation of modified models must take this into account. Always follow the original manufacturers instructions. Whilst we build our parts to the highest standards we are able, like all rc parts, our parts cannot be guaranteed for performance, strength and durability in every situation or configuration. Do not use your RC in public areas. Do not use your RC where unexpected results could cause injury or damage to property. High Speed RC’s require GREAT CARE and a responsible attitude to use safely.
