Arrma front, rear or center diff locker with hardened steel through shaft. This shaft is now a new stronger steel (jan '22) and new cups are harder and stronger (March ‘22) to better suit drag racing.
For speed and drag racers. Suits Infraction, Limitless, Talion, Felony, Typhon etc. Will not work with 29mm / LSD type diff gears.
This lightweight diff locker eliminates the internal diff gears and wobbly out drives. A steel through shaft takes all the load, straight from the re-used stock ring gear through to the shafts. No more broken diff pins!
Comes complete with a pair of hybrid ceramic bearings (Rubber seals)
Ring gear NOT included.
This is an EXPERT LEVEL upgrade. Please be aware that fully locking diffs is a specialist thing to do and we cannot guarantee against problems being encountered. Big power can break the strongest parts. The locked diff components are proven to exceed the strength of stock parts, but very high power setups can and will break parts if not handled and setup correctly.
Like other drive components, these require degreasing and plenty of high strength loctite (including on the drive cup bore) and allowed to cure for 24 hours if you want them to stay together. Please read the spec of the loctite you use. Not all ‘red’ loctite is the same. Loctite 271 is our preferred choice.
Shim the bevel gear before assembly of cups - the shims won’t fit over the cups.
Our bearings have been pre-oiled by our supplier. The oil is a little thick for our liking. We de-grease and re-oil in our own builds for ultimate free running performance.
