Especially useful for our range of carbon fibre chassis. Allows custom positioning of batteries.
In combination with our 3M dual lock tape, this is a rock solid method of securing batteries. We've had multiple speed running smashes at over 160mph, destroying whole cars, but the batteries have stayed in place and intact.
Chassis requires drilling and countersinking to mount the buckles. Holes need to have 27mm spacing. Update: The cross holes on the part now have the same spacing and be used as a template for drilling.
On carbon chassis, we recommend using masking tape to mark out and then drill the chassis, as pictured.
